'House of Cards' heeft meeste nominaties Golden Globes

Netflix kan tevreden zijn met zijn nominaties voor de Golden Globes. Maar liefst drie series van de online aanbieder zijn genomineerd voor de felbegeerde beeldjes. Netflix-serie House of Cards werd nog het vaakst genomineerd: vier keer. Verder konden ook Orange is the New Black en Arrested Development rekenen op nominaties.

In de categorie beste dramaserie moet de Netflix-serie House of Cards het opnemen tegen Breaking Bad (dat er al met de Emmy vandoor ging dit jaar), The Good Wife, Masters of Sex en Downton Abbey.

Naast de nominatie in de categorie beste dramaserie werd House of Cards nog genomineerd in de categorie beste acteur (Kevin Spacey), beste actrice (Robin Wright) en beste mannelijke bijrol (Corey Stoll).

Ook de speciaal voor tv gemaakte HBO-film Behind the Candelabra werd viermaal genomineerd. Verder werd Breaking Bad driemaal genomineerd voor een Golden Globe. Acteurs Bryan Cranston en Aaron Paul dingen mee voor een beeldje.

Overigens leidt het netwerk HBO de ranglijst met negen nominaties. Series van de zenders Netflix, Showtime en Starz werden allemaal zesmaal genomineerd.

De Golden Globes worden uitgereikt door Amy Poehler en Tina Fey, die de ceremonie ook vorig jaar leidden. De winnaars worden op 12 januari bekendgemaakt. Hieronder nog een trailer van House of Cards, en daaronder de complete lijst met nominaties.
