In de derde aflevering van het negende seizoen, Rogues of War, verschijnt het personage Red Death, een boosaardige variant van Batman.Of, in dit geval, Batwoman; gespeeld door Javicia Leslie.
For some reason, they are pretending she's Batman when she's her own character Batwoman. They should still be writing her like that.

Dit, en haar verschijning in de nieuwste aflevering The Mask of the Red Death, Part 1, viel niet lekker bij sommige fans.De boosheid van die kijkers kun je in twee categorieën plaatsen: De eerste groep is eigenlijk vooral boos dat Red Death niet Batman is, zoals in de comics. De tweede groep is boos op het slechte script en de tenenkrommende dialogen.
